don't cry, baby
don't cry, baby
i'm here for you
everything will be okay
you may not have the world
but your heart is full
your journey is long
but you'll not be alone
you may feel empty
but you'll not feel cold
my love will keep you warm
if you let me
i want to be with you
my legs may be wobbly
but my arms will hold you tight
so don't cry, baby
i'm here for you
everything will be okay
you may not have the world
but your heart is full
your journey is long
but you'll not be alone
you may feel empty
but you'll not feel cold
my love will keep you warm
if you let me
i want to be with you
my legs may be wobbly
but my arms will hold you tight
so don't cry, baby

island of gods and goddesses pt 2
The Kunja : entering paradise~
The Kunja : all of us were left speechless!
The Kunja : the sprawling splendour of each bathroom
The Kunja : I did say 'sprawling' didnt I ?
The Kunja : the wedding chapel that mel discovered
The Kunja : breakfast @ The Kunja, prepared by our picnic basket totting personal chef!
The Kunja : what a great way to start each and every morning ! mel made sure they gave us extra bacons!
The Kunja : this is truly a haven
The Kunja : this was what greeted us when we first entered the villa
The Kunja : the ultimate comfort of 'home' while in Bali
The Kunja : give me kunja or give me death!
Febris : the first night was spent at Febris Hotel cos mel said better for budget if we going to stay our last 2-3 nights at The Kunja. Febris itself was impressive offering palatial comforts.
Kuta Beach : the famed Kuta beach but its most unfortunate that this trip to Bali, beach-ing wasn't an important itinerary BUT it only gives me a reason to return to Bali...as if i needed a reason..
Royal Mengwi Temple : thanks to pyee who is always a big fan of snooping up to ppl & taking their pics...this is the group of Jap photog-tourists that we encountered...you can tell they were dead serious about their hobbies!* pics are in random order

island of gods and goddesses
Lovina : this was the breathtaking view of the sunrise.
Lovina : one of my favourite picture from the bali album : tok penghulu dengan penduduk-penduduk kampung ke sungai
Pura Danau : scenic view of the 'holywater temple'.
Pura Danau : when we were here, there was a bunch of mid-aged Jap photogs with their cute little hats and expensive looking cameras n tripods all around this site.
Pura Danau : entrance.
Pura Danau : another favourite shot of mine, a shining beacon of light.
magnificent paddy field around Ubud.
Royal Mengwi Temple : amazing architecture.
Pura Tanah Lot : hahaha doesn't this sculpture looks like it is enjoying the sun?
Pura Tanah Lot : here was where I felt the power of gaia.
Pura Tanah Lot : wait for it....
Pura Tanah Lot : TA-DAHH!!
Kuta : a yummylicious guava ice-cream.

my lil piece of paradise : intro
and so the long awaited Bali trip has arrived...i was too excited to care about the spread of flu...i just wanted to leave and savour what the island of gods has to offer...and it clearly didnt disappoint!
upon reaching the airport, i leaned across my sleeping sis (much to her annoyance) and looked out...i see nothing but blue, blue n blue....and more blue....i was ecstatic!
mr wayan, our extremely friendly and accommodating guide was engaged as i was traveling with family. we were whisked away to Febris hotel which has hugeeee rooms with a bathrooms that come with attached bathtubs and peckyee told me this was the economical one that we are staying in for one night...i wonder what luxurious would be...i felt abit kampung...
we arrived quite late in the afternoon and after checking in and making tour arrangements with wayan, we headed to the famous jimbaran bay for seafood dinner....we were there around 5 something in the evening and it was truly a sight to behold...dinner was great....the grilled seafood was not as fantastic as those back in Klang but they were fresh...we enjoyed our dinner while the sun sets in the horizon....it almost felt like i was home..lol

the pictures above and bottom are taken during the sunset at Jimbaran Bay...

after dinner we headed to kuta for a brief walkabout as we were leaving to The Kunja the next morning...the island has such a romantic atmosphere to it....i couldn't find any stark fluorescent light anywhere except for the inside of the many stalls...many hotels are hidden behind these row of stalls....which was pretty funny as I have always associated dark alleys with all things crimes thus imagine my surprise when i kept seeing tourists-looking people appearing and disappearing...in between shops/stalls...
Next up, sightseeing around Bali...
